Real estate is so much more than signs in yards and keys changing hands.

For me, it has always been about professionalism, strategy, and service—and how those three come together to protect consumers, support agents, and strengthen our communities. That's the heart behind The Real Estate Strategist.

My name is Robin Pye, and I serve as Broker-in-Charge & Real Estate Strategist with Carolina One Real Estate – Main Street in Summerville, South Carolina. I work with a growing group of real estate professionals who are committed to doing things the right way: ethically, thoughtfully, and with a high level of skill.

Over the past several years, I've had the privilege of serving on South Carolina REALTORS® Grievance and Professional Standards committees and, most recently, being selected for the 2026 SCR Leadership Academy. These leadership opportunities have confirmed something I already believed:

Some posts will be written with real estate agents in mind. Others will speak directly to consumers. All of them will come from the same place: a desire to see real estate practiced with integrity, skill, and care.

You will not find hype, fear tactics, or "get rich quick" promises here.

Instead, you'll find:
